Sophia Y. Siu, MD 蕭若詩

Sophia Y. Siu, MD, is a comprehensive ophthalmologist, surgeon, and fellowship-trained cornea specialist at NY Partners Ophthalmology. Serving patients from the Flushing neighborhood of Queens and Sunset Park neighborhood of Brooklyn, in New York City, Dr. Siu takes a comprehensive approach to treatment plans. 

Dr. Siu completed her undergraduate studies at Pennsylvania State University. She continued on to graduate Summa Cum Laude from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Remaining in Philadelphia, Dr. Siu completed her ophthalmology residency at Temple University Hospital. 

Dr. Siu continued her studies and completed a cornea and external disease fellowship at the prestigious and historic Wills Eye Hospital. With this education behind her, she quickly became a sought-after ophthalmologist and relocated to New York City. She currently has staff privileges at New York Eye and Ear Infirmary, Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital, and Lenox Hill Hospital.

She has published in numerous academic journals and has presented at national conferences. A board-certified ophthalmologist, Dr. Siu specializes in comprehensive ophthalmology, corneal transplantation, and anterior segment surgery. She is an accomplished cataract surgeon and performs minimally invasive glaucoma surgery. As a cornea specialist, Dr. Siu treats infectious eye conditions and ocular surface disease.

Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time with her husband and children.
